District Nurses
The practice has its own team of District Nurses who visit patients in their own homes to assess needs and carry out appropriate nursing care.
The District Nurses can be contacted on request via the surgery.
Health Visitors
Our Health Visitors are now based at Teignmouth Hospital. Please ring them on 01626 771128 to make an appointment.
Midwife
The Midwife is available by appointment for ante-natal checks at Channel View, Bishopsteignton Surgery and Chudleigh Health Centre.
Specialist Palliative Care Nurse
We have a Specialist Palliative Care Nurse attached to Channel View Medical Group. The Palliative Care Team is based at Rowcroft Hospice and can be contacted on (01803) 217630.
Mental Health Services
Louise Arscott is our in-house Registered Mental Health Nurse and manages our well-being clinics under the guidance of the GPs.
Community Practitioner
Annie Horsey is our Community Practitioner who is qualified to treat most medical conditions without the direct supervision of a doctor. She will visit our patients in their home if requested by a GP.
