VOLUNTEERING IN HEALTH
We are very proud of our Patient Support Group called Volunteering in Health We have joined forces with the three other Teignmouth surgeries and we are inviting interested volunteers to join us. Volunteering in Health is co-ordinated by Tina Graham who is based at Teignmouth Hospital (tel. 01626 771143)
If you are interested in helping your fellow patients by:

Driving patients to the surgery or hospital for appointments (40p per mile + parking charges)

Relief sitting for Carers
-
Arranging Social activities for Carers
-
Befriending
-
Dog walking for the disabled or hospitalised patients
-
Shopping for the disabled or hospitalised patients
-
Visiting patients in hospital or in their homes
-
Helping with fund-raising (card making, knitting, crochet and helping on stalls)
-
Helping to organise and co-ordinate the volunteer services
