Estuary Midwifery Team

We look after patients based at Teignmouth and Bishopsteignton surgeries.

Estuary Midwifery team aims to enhance continuity of care throughout pregnancy, labour and the post-natal period, delivering woman-centred care.

The midwife is Maggie Singleton.

Midwife clinics are held alternate weeks at Channel View Surgery on Wednesdays 13:30-16:00 and at Bishopsteignton Surgery on Weds  from 9:30.  Appointments can be made by phoning the surgery on 01626 775256.

The midwife offers preconception advice, including diet and medication. She also offers breast feeding advice prior to birth and support and advice post-natal.

The team provides a rolling programme of Preparation for Birth classes and Aqua Natal Exercise classes are held Mon 10.00 at Dawlish Leisure centre.

Moorland Group Practice

This Group looks after patients based at Chudleigh surgery.
